  2. She claimed to have visions from St Michael, St Catherine and St Margaret
  3. One explanation for her visions was that she was suffering from bovine tuberculosis from drinking unpasteurized milk
  4. Joan was just 17 years old when she led French troops to battle in Orléans.
  5. She was burnt at the stake for Heresy on May 30th 1431
  6. A retrial in 1456 declared her innocent and implicated Pierre Cachon with heresy
  7. It was not until 1920 that the Roman Catholic church canonised her
