Tuesday, 9 December 2008 7 things to do in a lift
A submission today from GadgetMan :D Thanks for this!
- When lift starts moving ... suggest a group hug.
- Stare, grinning, at another passenger for a while, and then announce: 'I've got new socks on!'
- Meow occasionally.
- Make racecar noises when anyone gets on or off.
- Drop a pencil on the floor ... then scream don't touch that it's mine when somebody goes to pick it up.
- Stand by the buttons, then when asked to press a floor level ... keep pressing the wrong ones.
- Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers that this is your 'personal space'.

Sunday, 7 December 2008 7 things I didn't know last month... about Paris
Just got back from a weekend away in Paris for our company party, so this month is 7 things I learnt from my excursion.
- The Eiffel Tower is a LOT bigger than I thought it was!
- The Buddha Bar doesn't serve alcohol until after 4pm
- The 'Venus de Milo' (in the Louvre) has her bum crack partially showing :D
- Although the Hilton in Paris is lovely inside, the building is a horrible 1960s pre-fab!
- The metro train doors don't open by themselves on most of the lines and you can open the doors while the train is still moving
- The 'roundabouts' in Paris have zero road markings and even less rules!
- The waiters (the ones we met) are really quite friendly and not rude at all
