- Its - It's : It's should Only ever be used as an abbreviation of 'It is'!
- Loose - Lose : You lose a race. A screw is loose.
- Your - You're : It is your language that you're ruining!
- Alot - A Lot : There is no such word as Alot, seriously!
- Adjective used as adverb : Don't do it... EVER!!! Wrong: He performed the manoeuvre perfect. It's perfectLY!!
- Surprise : Contrary to what a lot of people think; there are no such words as suprise, surprize or suprize
- Form when you mean From : A common and understandable mistake if you are an overworked HTML coder ;)

Sunday, 7 January 2007 7 things we didn't know last year
- Cottage vs shepherds pie
- Birds of paradise dancing are hilarious
- Pyrex can shatter very successfully!
- There are more types of cheese than we realised
- Remembering to do lists of 7 things can be tricky at times
- Spinach comes in individual frozen cubes for easy frying (for curries etc)
- The new skate park in Berkhamsted, which took years to fight for, was built without any lighting!!!!
