One of our machines, 'Edison', has decided to go completely insane over the past few days and is bringing up random BSODs none of which seem to relate to one another, he also managed to corrupt our backup drive which contains all our photography RAW files. After 2 days of trying to source the problem, here are the 7 remaining solutions.
- Wait for a thunder storm and place him on the roof with a metal pole sticking out of his case
- Introduce him to a 12lb lump hammer
- Rename him 'Ping' as that is the only machine in our house that doesn't have 'issues'. - Guess which machine I'm using now ;)
- Try out a new water cooling solution. e.g. a fireman's hose or jet wash
- Take him on a visit to the top floor of 'The Telecom Tower' and test a revolutionary new gravity patch
- Rearrange his components with a mig welder
- Find a nice soft patch of earth and start digging!
