7 things I'm looking for in a new computer

1. RELIABILITY!!! - unlike the current 'temporary' machine we are using
2. At least 5.1 audio, currently we are running with only 2 of our speakers
3. NOT Windows Vista! I have to use it on a laptop at work, it's the spawn of Satan!
4. Quiet. The quieter the better
5. Enough HD space to fit our entire media collection and more, 100Pb should do it ;)
6. Discrete. Flashy blue neon machines are SO last week
7. NOT a Tosh-iba. Every Toshiba laptop we've owned has ended up with me reaching for an axe
