And pretty sure you didn't need to know number 7 as I would have taken that as a given.

No, it's correct. Because the MP in our constituency is the Speaker of the House of Commons, none of the major parties stand against him. Making our vote pretty much pointless.

Actually, my typo, I was asking 'Not able to vote for the major parties?' but the question is answered anyway :)
